Hello Friends ... Happy Monday!
and
HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY
Before sharing what I've been up to in the crafting cave, I'd like to thank all the men & women who continue to protect our country and keep us safe! My Dad (above) was in WWII and was very proud to service his country!! God Bless you all and thanks for your service!

If you follow my blog, you know I make tissue box covers to sell along with my cards at the annual local H.S. craft show held the first weekend in November. I had a couple special requests since the show and thought I'd share with you. I was asked if I had a tissue box cover featuring a Beagle dog. Needless to say I did not but told her as long as I could find the paper, I could make one for her. Luckily Scrapbook.com has 12x12 designer paper for a variety of dogs/cats so here's the Beagle box I came up with for her . . .
The paper is 2-sided so I bought 2 sheets. One sheet for the actual box and the other I needed to be able to fussy cut the beagle and add him to the front of the box.
In chatting with my BFF and sharing this project with her she suggested I should do more of these for next years craft show with various dogs/cats. (she is such an enabler lol) There is now $100 worth of 12x12 papers sitting in my cart over at Scrapbook.com lol.
I delivered these boxes (she ordered 2) to this lady at breakfast this morning ... another lady saw it and asked if I had one with Yorkies ... oh boy ... scrapbook.com here I come! LOL
I'm thinking I'll order papers for the most popular dogs right now and then others as time goes on.
Which breeds do you think I should order now?
Wishing you a great week ahead!
As always, thanks so much for taking the time to stop by!
Your tissue box covers are so inspiring and this sweet little beagle pup steals the show! I love how he wraps around the corner of the box. You'll be up to your eyebrows in special orders with these cuties! God bless you for your dad's service to our country. My husband, dad and brother in law all served as well. So thankful for their courage and sacrifice.
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute, and how great to get more orders, wow, I don't know what you should do there are so many out there and I guess it all depends on what breed is mostly big in your area, wonder if that is something you could find on a google search?
ReplyDeleteYour dad was such a handsome fellow in his uniform. I appreciate all our veterans and active servicemen. My family is full of them, but my brother got all the old pics. Rich was a Marine. I absolutely love your Beagle box! I think all the breeds of dogs and cats would be big sellers. What cute paper! I'll have to go look at the rest just for fun. I'm a dog person, as you know, and my breed of choice is Golden Retriever. Definitely a popular breed along with labs and many of the small breeds.
