It's Twofer Time once again ... yeah!

Hello my friends!
Darnell has her Third TWOFER CHALLENGE

up and running and I must admit ... this one had me a
bit stumped for awhile but I finally came up with an idea!!

What do you think???

I chose to create my two different cards using one of the
floral stamps in the BoBunny Floral Stamp set shown below.

First I used it to create my background panel for this soothing sympathy card.  Also fussy cut
a flower to use as accent on the sentiment panel.

Then used it as the focus on my second card.
On a scrap of white card stock, I stamped the flower 4 times then stamped it again separately so I could fussy cut it to create a focus panel.  I shadow stamped my flower on a scrap of goldenrod card stock and fussy cut around to create a mat for the focus flower.

This new Echo Park 6x6 Dots & Stripes paper is double sided so the piece I had to cut off I simply flipped over, stamped my sentiment, matted with a scrap of black card stock and VIOLA!

So there you have it ... a fun new challenge and now I have TWO additional cards to add to my stash!  YAY!  Plus it helped get my mojo going.  Can't wait to see what Darnell has up her sleeve next!!  She's such a HOOT!

Two stunning cards. Where did you get the sentiment for the sympathy card as it is very poignant. Xxx

Wow Darlene ~ these are both gorgeous! I love the black, white and yellow card. Such a bold and beautiful design using that pretty flower image. The sympathy card is equally lovely and that sentiment is one of my favorites.

I think these are a perfect take for the Twofer! You've created two fabulous cards with that sweet Bo Bunny blossom stamp! That's a great background, and I love the shadow stamping you've done; it gives an extra layer of those blooms to your pretty card. And polka just can't go wrong with polka dots in my world, lol! The blooms done in black in really works well with the circles, and the yellows. Two great cards! Thank you so much for joining us at The Twofer Challenge! Bev

Whoa, that's some beautiful background you created with that flower, Darlene! Fantastic job for the Twofer challenge. You've got the serene and thoughtful sympathy card, plus the poppin' happy yellow and black card. Yellow and polka dots, sigh... Sure is a pretty stamp set. I didn't even know BoBunny makes stamps. Love their paper.

They are both just beautiful my favorite of the two is the yellow, I like how you matted the top flower with the yellow so that it stands out from the others, neat design!

This is so inspiring. These cards are so very different and yet they use the same stamps. Love them both.

Thank you so much for the kind shoutout, Darlene! You picked a perfect blossom from the set to create your lovely designs! I love it as a background behind that tender sediment and using one blossom popped up on the corner was a great idea! And then, wow, you really made it sing on your second card! So fun how you made a pretty flower pinwheel and what a great idea to mat the center blossom so it really stands out! I also loved the idea of using the back side of the DS paper to stamp your sediment! You, my friend, are always using your noggin!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #3! Hugs, Darnell
