Dies R Us Challenge Time

Hello Again ...

Today marks the beginning of my term as a design team member with Dies R Us and ends my 'reign' as DT Coordinator.  Things change in our lives and sometimes we need to take a step back and rearrange a few things ... that's what I'm doing as 2020 begins.  Anne Temple will be the new coordinator and I have great faith that she will continue to keep things running smoothly and a fun time will be had by all (including me! lol).

SO ... our challenge over at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog today is a very easy and fun one ... the theme is

Anything Goes using dies by companies
carried at the  Dies R Us Store .

Here's the fun card I came up with ... hope you like it!

Here are the DRU products used:

Frantic Stamper - Dies - Coffee To Go (ships July 29)

Frantic Stamper Clear Stamp Set - Coffee (ships July 29)

Tutti Designs - Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles

Sue Wilson Designs - Frames & Tags - Stitched Flags

The designer paper used is from the Your Next Step 6x6 paper pad
called 'Crazy for Coffee'.   I used a 'crimper' to create the background for
my coffee cup as well as the band around the cup.  (Haven't used that
gizmo for a VERY long time lol).

The coffee cup and the sentiment flag have been popped up using dimensional tape.

I hope you will come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

  Hope to see you there!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

As always . . .

  1. This is so cute! Love the combo of dies and stamps. Just think of yourself as the "queen mum" now. Your reign isn't over, you're just now letting others (me) take care of the details. LOL. Happy New Year my friend :-)

  8. I'm so glad you're still hanging out with us Darlene. You'll be missed as a DTL but I have no doubt that Anne will do a great job as well. Your card is so fun and that sentiment gave me a good morning chuckle. Hugs to you and have a happy, healthy 2020!

  9. That will be nice to start the new year off with a little less to do :)
I have not used a crimper in ages either, funny how we forget to use those certain tools. It works perfectly with this coffee take out theme card!!

  12. This is so cute! Love the papers you used. Do you know that somewhere in a box I have two crimpers. The straight one and a wavy one. I had completely forgotten about them till I saw your card. I used to use them all the time to make "corrugated" cardstock and "snowy" hills, and then forgot about them. Need to go dig them out :-) Thanks for sharing your beautiful card. I know a number of coffee lovers who would love your card! One of the reasons, that die is now on my never ending wish list :-)
    Have a wonderful day.
    Big hugs,
