Christmas in July Challenges

Happy Day All!

I just noticed there are several 'Christmas in July' challenges out in blogland
that I've missed playing along in so 'quickly', I've created a card with a new Sue Wilson die I just purchased.  I know, I know ... it's not July anymore but that's okay ... right?   LOL

The die I'm referring to is the Sue Wilson 'Three Little Snowmen Edger'

Creative Expressions - Dies - Paper Cuts Collection - Three Little Snowmen Edger

How cute is this die and talk about a quick card ... WOW!

On my blue background panel I quickly spritzed with TH Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain to mimic falling snow and added a little Glamour Dust using a Quickie Glue pen.

I also used dimensional tape behind my snowmen figures for a little added dimension and in case you didn't notice, the star that popped out of the middle snowman was used in the upper left corner as a guiding star for our trio.

Now onto those challenges:
Dream Valley Challenge #229 - Christmas in July
Ike's World Challenge #134 - S is for SHOW us Christmas

Thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

  6. Oh this is such a gorgeous and gorgeously made card, Darlene! I'm in awe of how many dies you must have! And I have WAY too many. I chuckled at the comment you left on my blog about the shark card. But WHY didn't you tell me to go enter it in the Double D beach challenge? Haha I know you don't have anything better to do - yeah, right! No worries, I made it in with 5 minutes to spare! heehee XOXO
