Sisterhood of Crafters - Masculine

Hello my friends!
Today I have a card for the new challenge over on The Sisterhood of Crafters!

Our theme, chosen by 'little ole' me' this time around, is:

 MASCULINE

I know many of you struggle with designing a card for the men in our lives so what better time to have some fun and be inspired!!  Pop on over and check out what my 'Sistahs' have created then join in our challenge fun!!

I have had this stamp set for YEARS and although I don't use it often, I thought it would make a great CAS card to satisfy today's theme ... what do you think?

The stamp set is by Spellbinder 'JustRite Clear' and is called Anchors Away (CR-03710).  This is a very old set I've had in my stash for probably 8 - 10 years.  There are actually 23 stamps in this set, so lots of options!

My background is Navy Blue (I know ... looks black but it's not) and I've used Momento 'Paris Dusk' ink for my images.  A piece of twine that was hanging on my accessory board was used to finish off the theme.

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!
My 'sistahs' have created some fabulous creations to help inspire you ...
be sure to pop over and check them out!

  4. It most certainly is a perfect card for the challenge! I love it stamped in blue. Always good for nautical things. You make me want to dive into my drawer of older nautical stamps, but I'm still working on the new stuff. Sheesh, will I ever catch up?

  13. Awesome masculine card. I always feel that simple cards for guys are the best. Or maybe it's because I find it hard to make masculine cards and so go for simple :-) Either way, thank you for the inspiration, my friend! Lena xx
