Dies R Us Challenge - Back to School

Hello again my friends.

It's time for a new challenge over on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.
Today's theme is:

Back to School

WOW ... this theme was a real challenge for me!
At my age (don't ask ... don't tell lol)  I don't have much call
for Back to School cards so I really had to THINK about this card for awhile!

After looking through my dies, I came up with this creation using the following dies:

Tutti Designs - Nesting Stitched Tags
Tutti Designs - Dies - Nesting Stitched Tags

Cheapo Dies - Newsprint (ABC)
Cheapo Dies - Font - Newsprint

Frantic Stamper - Stack of Books
Frantic Stamper - Dies - Stack Of Books

Obviously I have a lot of dies ... AND a lot of papers!
I'm very happy with how it came together ... the ole' MOJOs working today!  LOL

Don't forget to check out sister store in Canada . . . Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in USA & Canada called Didi Crafts

It will ship to both the US and Canada. Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different. Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

Scrapbooking & Cardmaking Store

I hope you will come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.

For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

  3. Well, you certainly made every component of your sweet card work together perfectly Dar! The stack of books along with the ABC is clever thinking on your part. I never would have thought to use the alphabet. I had to do some digging into my dies too. We haven't experienced going back to school in many years! Well done my friend!

  7. This is super duper cute, Darlene! The number paper makes all the difference, I think. I don't have much call for back to school cards, either, but that stack of books is perfect for bookmarks.
