Hello again my friends.
It's time for a new challenge over on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.
Today's theme is:
Back to School
WOW ... this theme was a real challenge for me!
At my age (don't ask ... don't tell lol) I don't have much call
for Back to School cards so I really had to THINK about this card for awhile!
After looking through my dies, I came up with this creation using the following dies:
Tutti Designs - Nesting Stitched Tags
Cheapo Dies - Newsprint (ABC)
Frantic Stamper - Stack of Books
Obviously I have a lot of dies ... AND a lot of papers!
I'm very happy with how it came together ... the ole' MOJOs working today! LOL
Don't forget to check out sister store in Canada . . . Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in USA & Canada called Didi Crafts.
It will ship to both the US and Canada. Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different. Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

ReplyDeleteWell you might have struggled to come up with something but you certainly nailed it big time, couldn't be any more perfect, and I struggled too lol, too old to have back to school kiddos lol!!
ReplyDeleteWell, you certainly made every component of your sweet card work together perfectly Dar! The stack of books along with the ABC is clever thinking on your part. I never would have thought to use the alphabet. I had to do some digging into my dies too. We haven't experienced going back to school in many years! Well done my friend!
ReplyDeleteGreat card with the tag!! And, wonderful border showing the numbers for your school themed card!! It’s school time for all the kiddos! Take care and have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteYour stitched ABC tag looks wonderful on your school lined paper! Love the numbered edge too!
ReplyDeleteCute card! Love the tag and fun papers you used too!
ReplyDeleteThis is super duper cute, Darlene! The number paper makes all the difference, I think. I don't have much call for back to school cards, either, but that stack of books is perfect for bookmarks.
ReplyDeleteYou do have some great papers to use with your dies, that stack of books is so true, I couldn't believe the amount of books my daughter always carried around, now with Covid they don't have far to carry them :)
ReplyDeleteDear Darlene
ReplyDeleteYou are a creative genius. Blessings to you and yours
Your card looks great and you rose up to the challenge fabulously :-). Love the papers you used too.
ReplyDeleteYou had the perfect papers for this challenge and the stack of books is just the ticket for this challenge.
