Winter time slimline cards

Hello friends!

I'm headed over to Pennsylvania again shortly to finalize paperwork at the attorney's office on Mom's estate but before I go I wanted to share a couple more of those slimline cards that I had created & shared last week with the various backgrounds using stencils.  Here are 2 that I think turned out rather nicely ... what do you think?

I have a couple end of the year birthdays and one is my Brother In Law so this might be a nice card for him. And, this second card would be useful for a birthday or just a note to cheer someone during those depressing winter months.

I'll be back later to share all the product information used on these two cards.

Card #1

Tim Holtz Stencil - THS097 Plaid Layering Stencil
Tim Holtz Distress Inks
Elizabeth Craft - #1240  Winter Sweater
Tutti Designs - Happy and Birthday sentiment dies

Card #2

Tim Holtz Stencil - THS028 Holiday Knit Layering Stencil
Tim Holtz Distress Inks
Impression Obsession - DIE882 - Coffee & Cocoa
Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch
Tutti Designs - Scallop Stitched Circle Dies
Hot Off The Press - Winter Wishes Stamps

See you then ... have a great day!
As always . . .

  3. These are both fantastic. I love them.

  4. Hope all went well with your mom's estate. These are so sweet, I just love the sweater, and love the cute hot cocoa cups with that background, you have done some great cards with those backgrounds!

  5. Dear Darlene
Both cards are lovely . The second card is bright and happy and catches the eye instantly. No card making for me these days due to other commitments and my computer has to be exchanged. Travel safe and get back soonBlessings to you and yours

  6. Both are super CUTE, you sure are rocking those slimlines!!

  7. Two fabulous cards Dar! Both cards are warm and cozy and I love that they can be either masculine or feminine. The second card with the Nordic knit background is my favorite!!

  8. Love the "sweater" look on both these cards. Darlene! Great work!

  9. Sorry if I have missed a few posts, our weather is too nice to be indoors and outside activities took over. Most beautiful designed project as always, love seeing what you make. ♥

  10. WOW - I don't think I can pick a favorite here...they are both great designs! You also did a wonderful job with the background stenciling - awesome! : )
    Stay safe! Rachelle : )

  11. The sweater with the deer applique is a perfect winter birthday card, and when it comes to winter cheer, your second card has it in spades! Dang, that's cute! It will chase away anyone's winter doldrums!

Thanks for taking the time to leave me some love!
