Mix It Up Challenge - Foiling

Hello my friends!
A new month means a new challenge over on the Mix It Up Challenge Blog.
Remember, this is a monthly Anything Goes challenge but with a fun twist that you can choose to join in on ... or not!  This month's theme is:

Anything Goes + FOILING
(Minc machine, foiled card stock or aluminum foil)

Here's what I've come up with using foil card stock.
Unfortunately I don't have any of the current foiling machines, etc.
but I did have a pack of DCWV foil 6x6 papers so came
up with this design ... great for a Fall Birthday!

For the banners I have used the Sue Wilson 'Stitched Flags' die set
Sue Wilson Designs - Frames & Tags - Stitched Flags

and for the background I've used a We R Memory Keepers embossing folder.
The sentiment comes from Unity Stamp Itty Bitty 'Sweet Elle'
Sweet Elle
and the oak leaf accent is from the Tattered Lace 'Lavish Winter Foliage' die set.

I do hope you'll pop over to the Mix It Up Challenge Blog and join in the fun!
You have until 6 PM EST the last day of the month to enter!
I'm so inspired by the rest of our amazing DT
and I can't wait to be inspired by YOUR project!
As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

  1. Beautiful card looooove the foil paper looks stunning. x

  2. I think this would make a fabulous masculine birthday card, perfect colors for it!! I do have a foil machine, maybe I can join in this month..hah!! Going to head on over and see what the rest of DT has created!!

  3. Perfect Fall birthday card! Great idea!

  4. Fantastic card design with the foiled card stock and the pretty colors. The leaf is great for Fall.

  5. Well, this is pretty with the earth tones and foiled card stock! I do not have room for one more gadget in my stamp room, so no foil machine for me, either, but this works beautifully!

  6. love the autumn colors you have used her and the shine that the foiling gives to it all!

  7. Dear Darlene
The card is beautiful and the colors are gorgeous. I cannot make this type of cards as I dont have a foiling machine nor the papers. Sri Lanka is still developing. May be in the future. Cannot order anything from overseas as postal services are not working. I have to be patient until postal services resume. Blessings to you and yours

  8. Bright and shining is your beautiful card. Hugs, Veana

  9. Love your choice of colours here Darlene. Lovely cas layout and that embossed background adds so much to this card.

Thanks for taking the time to leave me some love!
