The Celebration Continues . . .

Happy Saturday Everyone!

I hope you're having a wonderful day!
Once again, I've decided to play along in the new challenge over at Seize the Birthday Challenge Blog.  They are celebrating challenge #200 ... WOW!  And the rules are a little different but GREAT FUN!  Be sure to pop over and check it out.

Here's what I've created today . . .

using their challenge logo as my inspiration!
Both the colors and the balloons!

For today's card, I decided to create a 'slimline' card so I could use the height for the floating balloons.  I'm very happy with the outcome.  I started by creating my background panel using watercolor paper and TH distress oxide inks.  A spritz of water gives me the splatter I was looking for.

I've die cut my balloons by using the balloon dies in the Sue Wilson - Shadow Box Collection - Celebrations die set.

I've used the larger die for my card front and here's a peek at the inside where I've used the smaller balloon die.  My stamped sentiment is by Hero Arts.

The DT over at Seize the Birthday has shared some amazing creations for inspiration!  Be sure to pop over, check it out and play along.  Some fabulous prizes are being offered up as well!

Here's another view of today's card . . .

  7. I love this one even better than your first one. Those balloons on a slimline card work so well. That die is my favorite and one that I used often, but I have never used the balloons. You have opened my eyes. Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday 200th Challenge.
