Hello again dear friends . . .
A challenge blog was brought to my attention this morning and I couldn't
wait to join in the fun. It used to be know as the Penny Black Challenge Blog but now
it is the We Love Chocolate Baroque Blog and they are located in the UK.
With the launch of this new adventure they are having a fun challenge as well as Tuesday Give Aways throughout September ... be sure to pop over and check 'em out!
Their September Challenge theme is
****Wings with an Anything Goes option****
Inside view
The style I used for my card is Slimline and I chose that style so that I could also enter into the Slimline challenge over on the CCEE Stampers challenge. I've really been intrigued by all the slimline designs I've seen around blogland recently and just HAD to join in!!
And another challenge I'm sharing in today is the 'Winged and/or Tailed Things Challenge' over on the Di's Digi Challenge Blog.
The stamps I have used are as follows:
Inky Antics - Daisy Bouquet (thanks Diane! ... colored with pencils then fussy cut)
Rubber Stampede - Butterfly (VERY old - colored with Spectrum Noir markers)
Hero Arts - Inside Sentiment (also very old)
I've used one of the Tutti Designs Scallop Stitched Circle Nesting dies for
the matting behind my floral bouquet
and the sentiment on the front cover is from the Sue Wilson Designs
Shadow Boxes - Birthday set
It's almost time to head next door to celebrate Olivia's 18th birthday
so I will close for now. But I will be back tomorrow with another fun Halloween
creation for the Tutti Designs Company ... please be sure to stop back and check it out!
Till then, enjoy the remainder of your Sunday and wishing
you an amazing week ahead!
Prayers going up to all my crafty friends on the west coast dealing with these devastating fires and smoke. Please be safe!!
This is so gorgeous inside and out. Beautiful butterfly design and fantastic colors. I am really loving all the slimline cards I see so often. This ranks up to one of the best.

ReplyDeleteSometimes it's nice to revisit our "very old" stamps Darlene, I think we see them in a totally different light second time around. And isn't this just so pretty and feminine with all those Butterflies.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased you joined in with our first challenge We Love Chocolate Baroque, thank you so much and hope to see you again.
