Happy Tuesday All!
I'm still working on a few birthday cards I need so I went looking for a sketch to inspire my creativity and found this fun challenge over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog.
I know (somewhere around here) I have a beautiful stamp/die set that has a large flower that I could have colored and die cut for the corner but do you think I could find it! Ugh! (that tells you I have too much schtuff lol) It will show up now that I'm done with my card!
Anyways, since I couldn't find what I was looking for I remembered I had some paper pads that have images in both corners so I headed to that paper tray and chose the P13 'The Four Seasons - Summer' pad for the floral corners I used today. A little fussy cutting and VIOLA!!!
Of course I couldn't let the opposite corner go to waste so I flipped the sketch and made this card also! Works for me ... 2 for 1 ... love when that happens.
What a fun sketch I'm sure I will be using again!
With no holiday party this year, we are making fudge for all the neighbors so I'd better get busy with mine. Hubby made his chocolate fudge yesterday ... I'm making peanut butter today!

Oh Dar these are beautiful!! I love them! The stripes really go well with the pretty corner images. I am still happy to stay indoors even though our numbers have decreased a lot since the testing and the vaccines have started... Can't seem to keep hubby indoors though! The stores have reopened and it's bedlam what with Christmas as well.It's pouring with rain today and a day for cosying with the cats... sending hugs

ReplyDeleteI'm absolutely in love with both of these cards, Darlene! You can never go wrong with stripes, especially black and white. If only I could get a pad of nothing but black and white stripes. The floral corners are gorgeous!! They work perfectly with this sketch, which I believe I pinned. I need to start making better use of some of my papers like this. Too pretty to cover up!
