HUGS

 

MORNING!  Happy Weekend to you!!

Here's a quick card today that began as a DT creation but then after creating the background using TH distress oxide inks, realized that my colors were not correct!  UGH!  So as NOT TO WASTE a perfectly good background panel, I grabbed a VERY OLD Hero Arts background stamp circa 2008 called 'Design Block Flourish' to add contrast & dimension to the sponged colors.  

Then I figured a simple sentiment die was all that needed to finish off my quick design.  I chose the Sue Wilson Perspectives die HUGS (CED8307).  I couldn't decide on which color looked best so I die cut it from a few different colors and ended up with this combination.

  I love this die set ... can be used in so many ways and for just about any occasion!  This card will be used for a friends upcoming birthday!  I think she'll love it since we aren't actually allowed to hug right now due to covid.

    I love what you did with the background! I might have had that stamp at one time. It sure looks familiar. This die set is so awesome and a bargain and it's on my wish list. Hugs to you!
