Hello my friends!
A new month means a new challenge over on the Mix It Up Challenge Blog.
Remember, this is a monthly Anything Goes challenge but with a fun twist
that you can choose to join in on ... or not! This month's theme is:
Anything Goes + Fancy Fold
Today I've created a card using the Double Z fold technique.
I decided to take care of two things at the same time! My card for today's challenge and make a special Valentine's card for hubby! If you've not made this fold before, here are the easy measurements.
It's basically an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of card stock that you score in half (5 1/2) and then score again at 2 3/4. The strip piece is also 11 inches long and scored at 5 1/2 and again at 2 3/4 and attached the opposite direction from card base piece. The strip can be any width you like...mine measured at 1 1/2.
I have really gone back into the archives for today's stamp set.
It's by a company named Flourishes (remember them??)
They are no longer in business and I've probably had this stamp set for a good 10 years.
