Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!
We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog
and the TWIST theme is 'EASTER'. Remember, the twist is optional
but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the
prize. Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with
an embossing folder.
Here's what I've created to inspire you today.
The embossing folder used today is by Sizzix, a 2 pack set called Birds & Wreath.
After embossing I did a slight touch of coloring using Prisma Pencils.
The sentiment is from a very old Stampin' Up Easter stamp set.

Matted with yellow card stock helped to draw you eye to the Lily stamen.
How pretty, such a unique embossing folder you used!
ReplyDeleteA stunning and beautifully designed card!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I have this folder and love it! I've used it a lot, too. It makes a perfect frame for your lovely Easter cross. Beautifully done, Darlene!
ReplyDeleteThe touch of color you added to the leaves looks so pretty against the cross. What I really love the most is the embossed oval with leaves being both inside and outside - what a great look!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Easter card! Fabulously framed… may have to look into that EF set! 🤔
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Love the cross and the pretty embossed frame.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!! A perfect way to use that folder!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and lovely design, great finish as always. Yes we think alike with this challenge with the similarities of our project.... sending hugs x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cross with the flowers and love the framed embossing and how you just colored the leaf portion of it. Hope you have a good visit with your friends and have a break in the rain :)
ReplyDeleteI have that folder in my collection and feel sure I will have to case this beautiful card for some of my ministries in which I supply cards. Happy Easter!
