Inspired by my Michigan BFF

 


Happy Saturday Everyone!

My Michigan BFF Diane (Nellie's Nest) inspired me to join in the sketch challenge fun over on the Colour & Sketch Challenges Blog.  Here is the sketch they have to inspire us this time around.

 

 I'm going to be in need of a lot more holiday cards than I have created so far so I went with that theme for today's creation.  I hope you like it.

The plaid panel is from a very old 12x12 holiday plaid scrap I had in my stash.  The tag was die cut 4 times and glued together for dimension using the Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Tags (#213).  I've also done a little green sponging around the outside edge of the top tag to set it off from the white base card.

My sentiment die is from Paper Rose (#16877) ... Merry Christmas.

 

 A touch of Gold Stickles was used on the tag as well as around the plaid panel for a touch of sparkle.

    Very nice Christmas card, CAS and easy to mail makes it even more perfect!! A perfect way to use up some of that designer paper too!!
