Over at the Four Seasons Challenge Blog,
it is time to switch seasons. So, today our theme is ...
Anything Goes WINTER
check out this fabulous inspiration board I have created for you . . .
Inspired by the top two images on our mood board,
I've combined the ice skates & the tea pot to create this
fun & heart warming card for you today.
The dies I've used are:
Marianne - Skates - LR0247
Impression Obsession - Teapot - DIE197
Rubber Cottage Stamps (sentiment)
While my ice skates were still in the die, I used a black Tombow marker and colored in the heels & bottom of the boot and a silver glitter pen to color in the blades. I did add more silver to the blades after removing from the die.
was small enough to adorn my teapot.

Creatively beautiful and perfect take on your mood board, love the sentiment too and as I write this it is 12 degrees so that pot of tea sounds pretty good right now!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great design and love the idea to add color to the skates before removing from the die. I can imagine it makes it so much easier!
ReplyDeleteYes, hang up those skates and come inside where it's warm! What a cozy and cute card, Darlene! Great idea to add color to the skates while still in the die. It came out perfect! Cute die sets you used and the perfect sentiment to go with tea set. You've got a little bit of everything in your amazing craft cave!
