Hello Dear Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Diane is hosting today and as you can see by my blog title ... the theme is:
NEUTRAL FALL
Here is the fabulous mood board she has created to help inspire you . . .
I struggled a bit at first with this challenge ... I kept wanting to add
more color but with some encouragement from my BFF
Diane, I was able to come up with this fun creation ... hope you like it!
I've started out with kraft paper then die cut multiple times
using the Impression Obsession 'Birch Trees' die set from scraps of white card stock.
Next I began creating my various colored leaves using the same die each time
from a very old Spellbinder leaves die set. While still in the die, I colored
the 'veins' using either an alcohol marker or oxide inks.
The watering can is by Impression Obsession and was die cut from gray card stock. I've had this die for a VERY long time and it came in handy today. (did you see the watering can in the mood board?)
The sentiment is a very, very old stamp set from Gina K and I have framed it by using one of the Tutti Designs Scallop Stitched Rectangle dies from the set.
A few little drops of Gold Stickles and my card is finished.
