Hello Dear Friends!
Today I've created yet another Christmas card using some old AND new dies
from the Tutti Design Store. I am having SO MUCH fun with these holiday dies. This time around, I decided to create a shaker card.
The dies I have used on today's creation are:
I'm not very good at making shaker cards but I'll keep trying!
Here's are a few steps I took on today's creation . . .
After die cutting several 'frames' using the Scalloped Stitched Nesting Squares,
I repurposed a panel of 'die packaging' and adhered between the top two frames
to create my window.
I then added dimensional tape to my frame which will
give me the dimension I need to create my snowy scene.
I die cut a solid piece of white card stock using the largest
square die then inked it up to create the background sky.
I have used a die I had in my stash to make the background 'forest'
for my deer. Then die cut it to length with the same square die
so it would fit perfectly.
Here's another peek at the finished card.

ReplyDeletePretty winter scene, kind of looks like HERE today except for the blue sky lol....'let it snow', did I say that?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shaker card
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful winter wonderland design. So gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour shaker is just gorgeous, I love how you have made a background of trees for inside the shaker and then have the deer on the outside, gives such wonderful dimension!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what you mean about being "not very good" at shaker cards 'cause this is as good as it gets! I haven't done one in ages. I love the snow inside, but most of all I love the Tutti Deer die. Oh, and the sentiment. That's so cute!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shaker card! Thank you for the step by step. I Pinned it. I've only done one so far and need all the help I can get! lol xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning winter scene, Darlene. Your shaker cards are always beautiful, my friend!
