Double D Challenge - Hearts

Hello Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge at the Double D Challenge Blog
and, it's another fun theme chosen by Diane ... also check out the
amazing mood board she has designed to inspire you!

The theme is:  HEARTS

I found inspiration not only from the various patterned hearts
but from the basket in the lower right corner.
What do you see that inspires you?
Get creative and come join in our fun ...
Who knows . . . YOU could be our lucky winner!

Here's my creation . . .

After die cutting my hearts from various scraps
of designer paper in my stash, I then positioned them into this

Frantic Stamper - Dies - Easter Basket & Bow

I felt it needed a little 'something' so I die cut some Impression Obsession 'Heart Stems' and that gave me exactly what I was looking for!
Impression Obsession - Dies - Heart Stems

After 'filling' my basket, I cut a second basket and adhered it
to the back of my first basket and popped it up using
dimensional tape for added dimension!

The 'Love You' sentiment is a left over from another project and it

Impression Obsession - Dies - Love You Heart
And my designer paper is from an old Prima 6x6 paper pack
called 'Hello Pastel'.

Diane has this fabulous prize offered to one lucky winner.
But, you have to play to win!!

  3. This card is totally darling! What a great use of that basket. It's always nice when we can extend the use of our dies. The heart stems are perfect for adding height to the hearts in the basket too. Every little detail you thought of is just perfect Dar!
