Mix It Up Challenge Time - STENCILLING

Hello my friends!
A new month means a new challenge over on the Mix It Up Challenge Blog.
Remember, this is a monthly Anything Goes challenge but with a fun twist that you can choose to join in on ... or not!  This month's theme is:

ANYTHING GOES / STENCILING

I must admit, I don't think to use my stencils nearly enough!  So, this theme was a good reminder and a lot of fun ... here's what I've created for your inspiration today!

The stencil I used is an older Memory Box
'Textured Honey Comb' (#88521), colored using Tim Holtz
Scattered Straw distress ink & a large sponge dauber.

My cute little bee's are from an Inky Antics stamp set called
'Swirly Bees' (#11154MC).  I have stamped them onto a scrap of white
card stock, colored their bodies with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers
then fussy cut them out and glued over top the images stamped
directly onto my card front.

The bee hive was stamped twice, colored one panel then fussy cut
them and glued them together before adding to the card with
a small piece of dimensional tape.

The musical ribbon is an old scrap that came on a gift many years ago.

I do hope you'll pop over to the Mix It Up Challenge Blog and join in the fun!
You have until 6 PM EST the last day of the month to enter!
I'm so inspired by the rest of our amazing DT
and I can't wait to be inspired by YOUR project!
As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

  1. Ack! So cute! Those bees and all the yellow... you know I love it! Check out that ribbon, too. I spent a few days dealing with the ribbon in my stamp room and haven't gotten much else done.
