Tutti Designs - Take Time to Smell the Flowers

Welcome back friends!
Today I'm  sharing a creation using TWO more of the new dies from our December 2019 release.  I encourage you to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all the fabulous dies available.

The dies I've used today are:

 Loves Me Loves Me Not
TUTTI-607 Loves Me Loves Me Not

 Stitched Postage
 TUTTI-618 Stitched Postage

Here are a few steps taken in creating this card:

I knew I wanted to PAPER PIECE my image, so after die cutting from white card stock, I then die cut just the dress portion (later did the ribbon in her hair to match) from a scrap of background paper.

A snip here and a snip there and my 'dress' was ready to adhere.

But before I could do my paper piecing, I need to do the coloring of her face, arms, legs, hair & the flower.

Using the postage stamp dies, I created two frames then turned the inside frame to create a diamond shape but I could have just as easily kept it the square shape.
I wasn't happy with just the background paper showing through ... it needed a contrasting pattern so I found this pretty butterfly paper in the same paper pack and die cut the largest postage stamp die and added it behind my largest square.

These new 'kids' dies are so much fun to create with and I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more cards from me using these cute dies.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store
and check out all of the fabulous dies available.
