Hello Sunshine

Welcome Friends!

WOW!  Have you felt Fall in the air?  Here in NE Ohio it seems the weather is going to change quickly from summer to fall and I'm not sure I'm ready for that!  LOL  Where is the time flying off too???

Anyways, after a BUSY week/weekend, I was ready for some quiet, playtime in my crafting cave today and found a few challenges I wanted to play along in.  Hope you like what I've created today!

 Inside view

People often ask me where I get all my card ideas.  Well when I'm stumped, I can always turn to Paper Playful to find a wealth of fun challenges to get my mojo fired up.  Just like today!  A sketch, color & style/theme ... viola! everything you need to create a card.

The challenges I'm sharing in today are:

Color Hues #1 - Color Challenge

AAA Cards Challenge #173 - Sketch + twist (I opted out of the twist)

 Tinker- Dream #92 - CAS

Retro Rubber Challenge #143 - Colors

RRCB 143

My flowers were created from a stash of die cut Heartfelt Creations flowers from a trade show I was a part of for them many years ago (circa 2014-15).  I have a lot of 'blanks (stamped & diecut)' in various sizes that I can simply grab, color & shape to create a quick floral cluster as I have done today.

My greenery was create from a scrap of lime green card stock and Elizabeth Craft 'Garden Notes Ivy Vine' #1297.  My sentiment is from Impression Obsession Hello Sunshine.

OH and I almost forgot!
My background panel was created using a lime green card stock and a Carta Bella 6x6 Stencil called 'Gather Branches' #CBHOA109033.  I've used Versafine Clair 'Verdant' ink for my stenciling.

Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by today!
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead.  I hope you'll stop back tomorrow
when I'll have a card for the new challenge being offered over at The Sisterhood of Crafters!

As always,

  7. You've been busy in more ways than one! Wow, I love how you used the yellow and green on this card! It's a fun new challenge. Fall... I would love for it to rain good and hard here in the west because we're literally burning up. I was down with a sick headache last night because the smoke got to me after spending too much time outside. This morning we're covered with ash and smoke is blocking out the sun. I can imagine how bad it is closer to the fires. We've even had some just to the north and the south right here on the coast. Our woods behind us are tinder dry and the smallest spark could set them off. Rich and I have an evac plan in place. Sheesh.
