Just wanted to say . . .

Hello Friends and Welcome Back!

Today's card was created due to the overwhelming need to create with some of the NEW goodies I purchased at the Dies R Us Store.  I LOVE the look of the 3D embossing folders so decided to get myself a couple more to create with.  Here's one that I modified after embossing for a different look . . .

The modification I'm referring to is how I fussy cut around the embossed flowers to create the opening on my panel to which I added a fun die cut sentiment.  The die I've used for my sentiment is by Sue Wilson . . .

This embossing folder is by Nellie's Choice and was purchased through one of the SPECIAL order events over on Dies R Us.  Be sure to sign up for their newsletter so you can get connected on these limited time sales.

This embossing on this folder is so deep and JUST BEAUTIFUL!

I've done some hand drawn doodling around the outside edge and, the butterfly is Rubber Stampede - Butterfly (VERY old - colored with Spectrum Noir markers).  I also gave it some luster by covering it with Ranger Crystal Effects though difficult to see in the photo.

Here's a peek at the Inside ...

Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by my blog today!
I hope you're having a fabulous weekend!

Prayers going up to all my crafty friends on the west coast dealing with these devastating fires and smoke.  Please be safe!!

  8. What a beautiful embossing folder and I love how you cut out the center to frame the very cool sentiment die. I totally understand the overwhelming need to dive into new goodies. I'm there. Woke up thinking about it this morning. The things I'm working with now were new a while back, but I've acquired many newer things since then. I love it all no matter when I pick it up! Hugs, Darlene!
