Hello my friends!
A new month means a new challenge over on the Mix It Up Challenge Blog.
Remember, this is a monthly Anything Goes challenge but with a fun twist that you can choose to join in on ... or not! This month's theme is:
Anything Goes + Stamping
Today I've created a card using a stamp set that had never used before and hopefully I did it right! LOL It's the Spellbinder (STP-001 ) Layered Rose stamp set purchased through Simon Says Stamps.
I've die cut a 'stem' from a old die set and popped up the rose with dimensional tape. My background was a die cut panel using Penny Black 'Elegant Stitching' die set then sponged the edges using Tim Holtz 'Wilted Violet' distress ink.
For my sentiment, I used a sentiment from Simon Says Stamps called 'Thoughtful Messages'. Then die cut it using the smallest dies from the Sue Wilson 'Pierced Flags' die set and purchased through Dies R Us.
I do hope you'll pop over to the Mix It Up Challenge Blog and join in the fun!
You have until 6 PM EST the last day of the month to enter!
I'm so inspired by the rest of our amazing DT
and I can't wait to be inspired by YOUR project!

You know I was just going thru your blog and realised that Feedburner must have stopped it's notifications already, because I'm not getting any. I need to be more on top of this because I signed up with follow.it, but obviously it's not working. Something else to investigate tomorrow :-)
so lovely, you have done a perfect job with that layering and love the soft purple around the edges!ReplyDelete
