For those of you not on my Facebook page, here are a few photos

of my granddaughter's wedding over this past weekend!

 The bridal party did all the church decorations!

Country Chic was the theme and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!

You may now kiss your beautiful wife!!

The groom made the alter structure and now that the wedding is over,

the intention is to secure it in their backyard and add a swing to it!  

What a GREAT idea and what beautiful memories it will invoke with every sit & swing moment.

Tutti Designs - Love Doves

Friends!

Today I'm sharing a card  of Love using dies from the Tutti Designs Store.

Wedding season is right around the corner (in fact, my granddaughter was married over the weekend ... Oh My!  Where does the time go??).  So of course, weddings were on my mind when creating this card.

My focus die is the Dove's In Love die from Tutti.

I have die cut it twice!  Once from red card stock and once from white.

 On the red cut, I snipped away all the inside pieces so I would have a red heart for my outline. 

On the white panel, I used a green alcohol marker to color in the ivy, added glue & glitter to my doves and once attached to my blue water colored background, I re-inserted the red hearts that popped out from my red die cut panel.

 To finish, I die cut the Love Word Set using the smaller cut as my sentiment.

Today, Two shall become One ...

Hello dear friends ...

Today is an exciting day!

At 3:30 this afternoon, Granddaughter Morgan and 

finance Mark are getting married!

They will be married in our family church in Darlington, PA.

This will make Three Generations to be married in this little home town church!

Myself, Daughter and now Granddaughter. 

How cool is that!!

 Mark & Morgan both have full time jobs but they are also 

both Fire Fighters / First Responders with their local Fire Department.

SO proud of them!!!

 

Needless to say, I will be back with wedding photos to share!

But in the meantime, have a great weekend and 

CONGRATS to Mark & Mo!!

Alphabet Challenge Time

Hello Friends!

It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Alphabet Challenge Blog.

Today's letter is "C"

for

CAS

(CLEAN AND SIMPLE)

 So quick and easy but still packs a punch!

I've used a couple Tim Holtz Distress Sprays to create my

background panel, then simply stamped part of my sentiment using the

Impression Obsession 'Special' stamp set which was offered

during a special promotion at the Dies R Us Store.

And then I die cut the main word Special using the coordinating

Impression Obsession 'Special' die set.

The gold butterfly sticker is from Stamp On It.

 Similar to this sheet at Stamp On It.

The actual butterfly sticker sheet used on today's card

is no longer available.

Guest Designer for Word Art Wednesday

Hello Friends!

I'm excited to once again Guest Design for the Word Art Wednesday blog today!  Thanks Karen & team for being so gracious ... it's an honor to design with you ladies!

Here's what I'm sharing today . . .

Once again I have cut my designer paper to size then ran it through my printer so I could print this beautiful scripture passage directly onto the paper then frame it.  I really like the end result!  So much in fact, that I made another card using the same method ... the same but a little different.

Tutti Designs - Time for Sunshine & Flowers

Hello Friends!

Today I'm sharing a card that I hope will make you smile, and it was created

using dies from the Tutti Designs Store.

This was a quick and easy card that could be use for so many different occasions!  I chose to make mine a birthday card since I'm in dire need of more ladies birthday cards.

The dies I have used today are:

Garden Trellis

I've die cut this die three times and colored the ivy only on the panel that will be the top panel when I glue all three together.    This helps add dimension without making my card to bulky for mailing.

Two sided designer paper was used for my background ... bringing all the focus to this beautiful trellis.
