Sisterhood of Crafters - Favorite Technique

Hello my friends!
Today I have a card for the new challenge over on The Sisterhood of Crafters!

Our theme, chosen by Annie this time around, is:

 FAVORITE TECHNIQUE

A technique that has become one of my all time favorites is creating
my own background panels using Tim Holtz Oxide Distress Inks.
Whether it is the look of water as I have made today, or
the colors of Fall leaves or countless other themes, these are
so easy and fun to create!

BEFORE

AFTER

The dies I have used to create today's card are:

Little B - Mermaids

 Little B - Dies - Mermaids

Sue Wilson - Fillables Collection - Underwater Accessories

Sue Wilson Designs - Fillables Collection - Underwater Accessories

Paper Rose - Under the Sea Border

Paper Rose - Dies - Under The Sea Border

Joy Craft! - Diver (6002/0767)

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!
My 'sistahs' have created some fabulous creations to help inspire you ...
be sure to pop over and check them out!

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

  7. Oh, I love LOVE your background, Darlene! It's perfect for your underwater scene with the colors you chose. I'd have to say this is my favorite technique, too. I especially love what happens with the water splatters. Super cute dies. The Under the Sea Border is ideal for the base of an underwater design!
