Hello my friends!
(Use leaves on your project.)
I spotted this scrap of designer paper in my scrap box and thought it would be perfect! I had originally stamped this image thinking I would base my card around it but that was before I spotted the paper panel. But, then I decided to use both so matted my stamped image with a coordinating color and added this OLD Sue Wilson die (CED5416). As you can see, I fussy cut the lily from the top of my sentiment.
A few little Black Nuvo Crystal Drops were added to pull my design all together.
I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!
As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!
Beautiful use of the paper and die, makes a perfect sympathy card!!
ReplyDeleteLeaves are so beautiful... who needs flowers? Okay, well maybe I need flowers, too, but leaves are surely very calming in any season, and here they make a most lovely sympathy card.
ReplyDeleteSo very beautiful and I love the pattern paper and colors. I have the same paper and still have not used it. Life has been so out of whack for me it is hard to get all my things used. But I like the reminder that your card inspires.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Darlene. Love the dp you found and what a lovely sympathy card with the single sprig of leaves.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful sympathy card, Darlene! Isn't it handy when you have just the right scrap to make a card? I've just reorganised mine so that they're more at hand - maybe I'll use them more :-) Thanks for the inspiration my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove your header. I wish I was at any one of those places right now :-)
Enjoy your week.
Hugs,
Lena
