Can You Handle The Pressure - SNOW

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is 'SNOW'.

Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

Here's what I've created to inspire you today.

I began my card by cutting a panel of heavy white card stock to the size I wanted then inked it up using Tim Holtz Oxide Distress 'Broken China' ink.  Then I ran it through my snow embossing folder (see below).

Next I added a 'snow bank' by tearing a strip of scrap white card stock and adding a bit of glamour dust to the edge for some snowy sparkle.  Lastly I had to decide what to place in the snow and spotted this majestic Memory Box 'Woodland Deer' (#98679) that was laying on the work table which had be die cut for another project then not used.  He is perfect for today's card!

For some reason my camera doesn't like the color blue ... it always puts a 'pink' hallow around my card but I'll share this photo with you anyways.

I do hope you'll come check out our new blog and play along.
AND yep ... we will be offering prizes at our challenges ... that's always a fun surprise!

Here's today's prize offering . . .

Challenges to share in:

Alphabet Challenge - S for Snow
Beyond the Blue Challenge #76 - Snowflakes
Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #188 - Fun in the Snow

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!

As always . . .
