Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge

Today I have a card to share for the new challenge over on the PEACE ON EARTH CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG.  Of course the theme is Anything Christmas and we hope you'll come join in the fun! 

Here's a fun inspiration board we've created to help get you started ...

 Inspired by the winter birds in the mood board, I found this sweet image online and had fun printing, framing and adding a couple 'special effects'.

I also added Crystal Stickles to the snowy areas for a touch of sparkle.

 After printing, I die cut the image using the largest die in the Memory Box 'Wrapped Stitched Frames' die set.  Next I die cut another frame (same size) from black card stock.  After overlaying my black frame onto the photo, I cut the original picture frame at the corners and added them outside the black frame.

 

 Lastly, I added a snowflake corner die to embellish the upper left corner.
That die is a VERY OLD Memory Box 'Corner Snowflake' die (#98238).
