Playing the challenges . . .

Good Day Everyone!!
Brrrrr  it's STILL cold here in Ohio ... hope it's warm where you live!
(I'm ready for Spring, LOL)

Today I have a couple of creations to share with you since I took the time to play a few challenges out there in blogland this week.  Since becoming familiar with Cheery Lynn Designs dies, I've enjoyed playing along in their weekly challenges.  This week the challenge is "SWEETHEARTS".  I decided to make a 'wedding/anniversary' easel stand card with one of my vintage images from TJDesigns. 




 Items used on this creation are:
Papers:  Red, Black, White cs, Paper Pizazz dp
Cheery Lynn Designs dies:  B117S Fanciful Flourish Small, B165 Lace Corner Deco E corner die, B136 Anastasia Border
Other Accessories: Computer generated sentiment, MS Heart Punch, Stamps Happen Inc. rubber stamp, Organza polka dot ribbon, Petaloo flowers, Wild Orchid Flowers, JoAnn Wedding tulle spray

My second creation is for the 'Vintage' challenge at KennyK's Krafty Krew challenge blog.  After seeing the creation by the design team I just had to get a little 'more' involved so went to their store, made a purchase (okay maybe a few purchases) and got busy.  Here's what I came up with:

Now I know SHE doesn't look like your typical 'vintage' bride but the colors are right!  LOL!

    I really enjoy your vintage cards- love the Stand by Your Man sentiment and the easel you created- lovely coloring on the 2nd...... We may get snow today- only 1 1/2 inches in Chicago so far this year.....!

    OK that is too much fun - a stand up card for a stand by your man kind of celebration!!Stay warm and thanks for the info you sent! I'm getting ready to go camping - my new tent is on order and as far as the other gear that is needed well I'm on hold. Maybe when it warms up??

    Darlene, Both of the cards are have their own personality and I love them.I love your easel stand card and I also love Cherry Lynn dies they have so many wonderful ones. Your Kenny K image is just adorable and you colored her just beautiful, love the background paper and the sparkle.
