Double D - Black & White ONLY

Hello Dear Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
I'm hosting today and as you can see by my blog title ... the theme is

Black & White ONLY
(NO additional colors)
Here's the mood board I've created to help inspire you . .
.

Black & White creations are always SO striking and I can't wait to see
everyone's projects.  The DT has done an AMAZING job ... be
sure to pop over and check 'em out!

Here's what I came up with!
It's actually my second attempt.  I had a card all set
to go then remembered the theme was NO OTHER COLORS
and I had placed a small pink flower right in the middle.
That's okay ... it will go right into my sale box and make
me one card ahead of all the cards needed for my Spring Show.

I've used some old dies on this project.
Memory Box 'Lovely Peony Outline' (98482)
Memory Box 'Lovely Peony Background (98483)
Cheery Lynn Designs 'Rose Leaf Strip' (B241)
Technique Tuesday - DIY Dies - Say It - Hello
Tutti Designs - Dies - Nesting Stitched Hearts
Martha Stewart 3-in-1 butterfly punch

REMEMBER:  We have a fun prize to give away to one lucky player,
which will be chosen by Random.org
ALL are welcome to enter ... we will ship internationally!

Today's prize offering is ...
So be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog
to see all the details and amazing samples offered
up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!

While I had these floral dies out on the table, I decided to create a few more cards for my sale boxes, using the same basic design idea.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope to see you at Double D!
As always . . .

  2. Beautiful cards, Darlene!! That peony is one of my favorite dies also. I have never seen the rose leaf before, but I love it. The other cards are all so striking and elegant. I really like the "Prayers" one in the middle! Looks like you are a few cards ahead for sure.

  8. Holy heck, Darlene, you made that flower die look completely different on each card just by changing up the colors! Your black and white card looks like a negative cut, but with B&W it's hard to tell for sure because of the contrast. I find it really hard to photograph. All are very pretty. The two with lots of black are really striking.
