Sisterhood of Crafters - Play Ball

Hello dear friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over

Our hostess today is Vickie and the theme she has chosen is:
PLAY BALL
(any sport that uses a ball)

Here's what I have to share ...

Being of the 'older generation' ... I have more friends that
play golf than any other 'ball' affiliated sport so
that's what I went with today.

Plus you can't have enough GUY birthday cards in your stash!!

I've used a die from the Paper Rose company called 'Golfing Set' and
purchased at the Dies R Us Store.

Paper Rose - Dies - Golfing Set

I've used light blue card stock for my background and 'torn' lime
green card stock for my grassy area.  The trees were created
by stamping with Stampscapes stamps.

It appears this guys ball is in the 'ruff' and  I don't know much
about the game but I think using a 'tee' when your
ball is stuck in the 'ruff' is considered cheating!  LOL
Maybe this is just a practice swing!  LOL

Anyways . . .
I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!
My 'sistahs' have created some fabulous creations to help inspire you ...
be sure to pop over and check them out!

  2. LOL, Darlene... I don't know enough about the game of golf to know if that is cheating or not... :) But I love your torn cardstock for the "rough" and the guy's back leg in between the layers! Great card, Sistah!!

  3. What a wonderful masculine card! My father was a golfer all of his adult life and only just gave it up recently. He would love this great card! Have a great week, Sis!

  4. You have created a great golfing scene. What wonderful dies used for it too. And I am no expert on golf but it looks fine to me. LOL

  5. What great inspiration for everyone to get busy and make some masculine cards! Hahaha, I won't tell if it turns out this guy is actually cheating, not that I'd know. Never been a golfer, nor is Rich. Actually, he's not a sports guy, which just makes it all the more challenging to make cards for him. Really awesome card, Darlene!
