Hello my friends . . .
Now, if Mother Nature would get the hint and leave all the snow in the mountains where it belongs this time of year, that would be great! LOL Although, I must say, the weather people are predicting more spring like weather for the next 10 days so let's hope they are correct.
I have something a little special to share with you today . . .
and, here is the story behind this card . . .
Today I have a card to share that was created for a little old lady that I have befriended at our weekend breakfast out at Bob Evans. She has a birthday this Thursday and I wanted to surprise her with a special card and asked her son for their address when she wasn't looking.
I've gotten into the habit of once we are in the door and I have my coffee, I pop over to her & her son's table and chit chat with her until their breakfast arrives ... then when we are both finished eating, I'll pop back over to her table for a few more minutes before we all go our separate ways. She has told me how much she enjoys our little 'chit chats' and anyone who knows me, knows I'm never short on chit-chat! LOL
I've used the Altenew 'Vintage Garden' stamp & stencil set for this card, colored with Tombow markers then went to my die collection for the sentiment.
With the way things are in the world today ... I fell we ALL need to take the time to BE KIND and try to make someone's day just a little bit better than it was. It's amazing how much a SMILE and a friendly HELLO can brighten someone's day! Like the song say ... 'ALL WE NEED IS LOVE!'
