Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!
We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is ...
PUMPKINS
Remember, the twist is optional
but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the
prize. Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with
an embossing folder.
I just realized I don't have any Halloween/Pumpkin type embossing folder (will have to do something about that!!! lol) so I had to think outside the box a bit and came up with this design.
Aloha Friday Challenge #15 - Pumpkins
Craft Rocket Challenge #119 - Autumn and/or Halloween
Creative Knockouts #533 - Halloween or Fall
Moving Along with the Times #171 - Autumnal Colors
Fab 'n' Funky #603 - Autumn / Halloween
I do hope you'll come check out our challenge blog and play along.
AND yep ... we will be offering prizes at our challenges ... that's always a fun surprise!
Here's today's prize offering . . .
Your pumpkin-themed card is so creative! Using the Darice 'Chevron' embossing folder with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide orange ink gives it a perfect pumpkin patch vibe. The scrapbook stickers add a delightful touch, making it a fun and festive design.
ReplyDeleteExcellent thinking outside the box Dar! Loving the tractor tyre vibe and your sweet pumpkin patch scene! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteI think you made a good choice of embossing folder to go with your great scarecrow and pumpkins :)
ReplyDeleteA pe4fect image and colours for our challenge at MAWTT, thanks for joining us. Xx
ReplyDeleteNo pumpkin folders here, either. I love how you pulled this out of your hat and made such a darling card, Darlene! The scarecrow and pumpkins are super cute and they look great with the chevron embossing!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun little scarecrow for your card and that EF works perfectly with him too! I love all the fall colors, pumpkins, and corner effects too.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the chevron folder, and I love scarecrows (but only cute ones like yours!)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card. I love that happy scarecrow, and the embossed background really makes that focal pop.
