Hello Friends!
Happy Saturday!
It's time for a new sketch over on the SKETCH SATURDAY Challenge Blog
and, once again we have an added option which is:
USE ORANGE
Here's today's sketch . . .
Confession: I rarely use the color ORANGE on a card ... it's not that I don't like the color ... I do ... I just never think to use (nor do I have much) this color. But I truly LOVE it when I see other crafters creating with orange ... always so bright & happy! So today's challenge was a true challenge for me.
I hope you like what I've come up with . . .
Product used:
OLD designer paper pad by Carta Bella called 'Flora' No 2 (back panel)
Honey Bee 'Giddy for Gingham' paper (circle panels)
Tutti Designs scalloped circle dies
Dimensional Sticker Flowers by K&Company
Sentiment stamp/die set from the Ton
I hope you're inspired to use a color you rarely use the next time you create a card. It's amazing what you can come up with when you go routing through your stash! LOL
Won't you come join the fun at Sketch Saturday?
As always, thanks so much for taking the time to stop in and say Hello!
Gorgeous card. Like you orange is a color I rarely use. I may have to see what I can create.
ReplyDeleteThis is just stunning and has a real homespun flair to it with the gingham and matching flower. It's beautiful! I like orange but I always seem to be out of that color cardstock whenever it comes to making cards LOL
ReplyDeleteWell, you just had the perfect papers and design elements for it! 'Tis the season for orange. It looks great to me!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous happy card that brightens a grey wet day
