Dies R Us - Flowers

Hello All...
It's time once again for a new challenge
at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.

And, the theme is:

 FLOWERS

It doesn't get much easier than that for a challenge!

Even though I have a TON of floral dies that I could have chosen from,
today's card is what I call a 'clean up' card.  Using bits and bobs
laying around from other projects.

The dies I have used on my creation are:

Paper Rose - Dies - Stitched Rectangle Frames

Pink & Main - Dies - Box Card

I've also had this image sitting around in my stash for
quite some time and Spring is the perfect time
to use it as the focus on a card.  (Don't remember where it came from!)
But, it sure is pretty and worked well with
this scrap of designer paper that was used to
adorn a tissue box cover for my Spring Show last month.

I've die cut the frame a couple of times and used
the packaging from a Sue Wilson die set
to create the 'window' for my shaker card.

I was going to put the sentiment die at an angle on
the lower corner but then realized it fit the opening
so that was my finishing touch.

I do hope you'll come join in this fun challenge and
if you need more inspiration ... be sure to pop over and see what
our design team has created for you!

Hope to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by ...
As always ...

  7. This is so gorgeous and I love that you made it a shaker. I wanted to get that Paper Rose die set and everywhere I looked it was out of stock. So I hope someone will restock it again.

  8. Pretty as a picture! I should have such pretty things laying about on my desk. I love how the "celebrate" fits so perfectly in the frame. I just finished coloring some tulips today. Got spring and flowers on the brain, so this fits right in. Gorgeous, Darlene!

  10. Isn't it just wonderful when all our "bits and bobs" just fit perfectly together to create a new project? I love it when that happens. Your shaker card is beautiful. When ever I think of Spring, I always think tulips. Must be this thing of being married to a Dutchman :-) Love, love your card.
    Enjoy your evening!
    Hugs,
    Lena
