Graduation Time

Hello Everyone
Image result for happy mother's day

to all you Mom's out there in Blogland!!

Today I have a graduation card to share with you that I created for our Great Niece who graduated from college over the weekend!

These kids are growing up SO FAST!  Egads!  LOL

from college 3 years ago!

Here's what I created for Meghan . . .

I recently purchased the Karen Burniston 'Rockin' Rectangle Pop Up' Die from Dies R Us with this card in mind.

Karen Burniston - Dies - Rockin' Rectangle Pop-Up

It was really quite easy to make and turned out great!
I think the graduate is going to love it!
However, once I had it all together and showed my husband, his comment was:  "how are we going to put her graduation money in it" ... Hmmm hadn't thought about that.

So my first thought was I'd put a pocket on the back of the card.  Then, he asked if there was anyway to put a pocket on the inside so here's what I did . . .

I created a pocket using white card stock and the same graduate designer paper,
popped it up just a bit with dimensional tape and adhered it in behind the pop up panel.
I've placed one of my business cards in it so you can see the pocket.
And, it still opens & closes without a problem.

For the window I used packaging from my Sue Wilson dies.  Works perfectly!

The sentiment on the front and inside are also Karen Burniston ...

I was impressed with how quickly this card went together.  Of course
that was after watching Karen's video a couple of times!  LOL

This die could be used for more than just graduation cards.
I plan on spending a day playing with it and seeing how many
categories I can cover.

Gotta go!  Have a GREAT day!

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!
