Sending Smiles

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!

The rain has stopped and I'm headed outdoors for awhile but before I do, I wanted to find a fun sketch challenge to play along in and share with you.  I found that fun challenge over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Challenge Blog.  Here's what I have to share ... hope you like it!!

Here is their sketch:

I recently purchased some of the new Mintay paper packs over on Frantic Stamper and just had to dive into one of the packs before putting them away.  I chose the 'Berrylicious' 6x6 paper pack.
Mintay by Karola - Berrylicious Collection - 6

I used 2 of the sheets and used fronts & backs to create my card.
I'm not a cat lover ( I know ... please don't hate me)!   I know many people are, and I still think the image on this sheet is just adorable.  I'm sure this card will bring a big smile to someone's face.

I've also used Prima flowers, Nuvo Crystal Drops and  the following dies:

Penny Black - Elegant Stitching Dies

Well here I am ... lunchtime ... time to grab a bite and get outside.  Hubby is already out there power washing the deck so we can get out table & chairs set up.  We enjoy sitting out there in the morning watching the squirrels and birds while enjoying our morning coffee  (many dinner hours too).

Challenges to share in:
Crafty Friends Challenge #110 - ATG
Crafting with Friends Challenge #3 - ATG
Creative Fingers Challenge #164 - ATG
Cut It Up Challenge #174 - Picnics (picnic basket in the image)
Simply Create Two Challenge #149 - ATG

Here's wishing you a WONDERFUL weekend!!

UPDATE:
For those of you who do not follow me on Facebook ...
Power Washing was interrupted when we discovered this sweet fawn hiding next to our deck, up against the house.  So I did the mowing and Mama Deer kept an eye on me until I was done then she came and retrieve her youngin'.

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

  5. This is one of the pads I got, too! I haven't even touched mine yet, but I've looked at every page in each of the four pads I bought. I did make a card with one of my other Mintay pads, though. LOVE this, Darlene! I know you have many cat-loving friends who would be very happy to receive this darling card. It's been raining here off and on for several days. We went 23 days without rain so I can't complain, I guess.

  7. Oh, my gosh, Darlene, that deer sure is a dear. So very obedient - quiet and still - and very beautiful. So happy to read that she's safe with her mother again! :)
