Happy Friday and Happy Fall Ya'll
It certainly is feeling & looking like Fall here in NE Ohio. And even though I was REALLY enjoying those beautiful 70 degree temperatures I guess I shouldn't complain, after all, it is mid October and we are still having beautiful 60 degree days!
So today's creation to share with you is all about FALL . . .
Check out that shiplap background!!! Isn't it cool??
OMG I'm having so much fun creating shiplap background panels in all colors using my new Shiplap die from The Greetery! This was the first one I made. I die cut from ivory card stock then sponged Tim Holtz Distressed Oxide Walnut over each panel before creating the background panel.
After seeing the new challenge theme over on Shopping our Stash, which happens to be Happy Fall Ya'll, I knew exactly what direction I wanted to take this panel in for a card design.
The dies I've used are:
Sue Wilson - Mini Expressions - Happy
Coloring was done with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and images other than the sentiment were popped up with dimensional tape.

Bastel-Traum Challenge #94 - Background
When I was deciding on a sentiment for today's card,
I couldn't decide which color to go with! So first I die cut the orange
but then decided to layer it with another color so die cut the red ... Hmmm still
not quite right! Then cut again from a golden yellow color scrap.
After switching them around several times, I finally decided on this combination.
Well that's it for me today friends!
Thanks so much for stopping by and
here's wishing you a FABULOUS weekend ahead!
