Hello again my friends ... Happy 2021
Dies used on this creation are:
Karen Burniston 'Outdoor Scene'
Frantic Stamper 'Tall Pine Trees'
Lavinia 'Fox 2' (stamp)
I began my creation by die cutting the 'deer' portion of the 'Outdoor Scene' die set from a scrap of white card stock. Then colored the deer with a brown Spectrum Noir marker. Next I created a few layers of snow by using scraps of white card stock cut to length and 'tearing' along the top edge. I have lightly sponged that torn edge with blue ink that was left on my sponge dauber to give it dimension.
I knew I wanted to use this Lavinia 'Fox 2' (though it looks like a wolf to me lol) so I stamped it and fussy cut it with scissors. Then continued to build my scene using bits & pieces I had in a box of 'extras' left over from other projects.
My base card is actually a medium blue in color but before building my scene, I used the ink left over in my purple, dark blue and white sponge daubers to give the evening, snowy sky some character.
It will ship to both the US and Canada. Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different. Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!
Such a beautiful winter scene. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteA lovely snowy scene with the deer, fox, and cardinals! Beautiful sky and sentiment, too! Great card, Darlene! Happy New Year!!

What a wonderful and peaceful scene you've created here Dar! Your inked starry sky is perfect and I agree, he looks more like a wolf than a fox but it's all good in card making. Happy 2021 my friend!
