** EXCITING NEWS **

 Hello Friends!

I have some exciting news to finally share with you today!  Way back in late summer 2020 I applied for a CAS challenge design team and today I can announce (with great pride) that I've been invited to join the new team over at the PERFECTLY CAS CHALLENGE BLOG!!!

Now those of you who know me, know that CAS style is not my typical ... but I've been practicing and trying to create in this style more often over the past year.  I'm honored they have faith in me to follow through and hopefully inspire others who like me, used to shy away from CAS ... and are now ready to give it a go!!

Our January theme is:

Here's what I've created for you today . . .

I have used the Tim Holtz 'Holiday Knit' stencil for my design
and the sentiment came from the Altenew 'Modern Fox' stamp set.

I've used Tim Holtz 'Chipped Sapphire' and 'Crackling Campfire' distress oxide inks and a large sponge dauber for my stencil inking.

I hope you will join in the challenge - just make sure you understand the rules.
For all the rules check out the 'How To Play' TAB under our challenge header.

The challenge is all about helping you stay
within 1/3 of your card to make sure it is CAS.

I look forward to seeing what you create.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
As always . . .

  11. Wonderful way to start your new DT, Darlene. This card is gorgeous and festive. I'm sure they're very happy to have you on their team. Congratulations! Looking forward to awesome inspiration from you. I can't make CAS cards because even when I try, I can't leave well enough alone and just keep adding "just one more little thing" :-)
Enjoy your week, and keep safe and well.
