HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY DOUBLE D!
That's right, as hard as it is to believe, our Double D Challenge Blog is beginning it's 5th year in existence! It seems like only yesterday Diane & I came up with the brilliant idea to start our own challenge blog!! And here we are ... still having great fun month after month!
So to celebrate the start of our 5th Year, Diane has created this fun inspiration board . . .

For my card today I decided on a slimline design so I could have not just ONE but TWO cupcakes on my card. Like my card sentiment says ... Life is Better with Cupcakes!!
My designer papers (from the scrap drawer) are all OLD but my stamps & die are NEW. This 'Layered Cupcake stamp set' by Altenew is so much fun to create with! And don't forget about the coordinating 'Layered Cupcake Die'.
I've used one of the tag dies from the Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Tags set for my focus panel and added multiple colors of Bakers Twine for my ribbon. A little dab of Crystal Effects helps to hold the strands in place.
I've added Nuvo Glitter Drops to my cupcakes for the sprinkles.

Why I didn't purchase this stamp/die set when I had the chance is beyond me, but so glad YOU did as you have created an awesome card with it, fabulous cupcakes and sentiment! Well we have pulled off five great years with the fantastic team of ours and I couldn't be any happier!
