Happy Tuesday All!
While I'm at my sister's salon today getting all 'beautified' LOL, I thought I'd share a quick card I created yesterday with the AAA Cards Challenge in mind.
I don't know about you, but I certainly needed to remind myself of these encouraging words! I've been having some difficulties with my blood pressure lately and I know it's all anxiety related. Not being able to go out with friends & family due to Covid ... or outside much due to the cold temperature, I think I just need to remember it could be worse & count my blessings. But a little sunshine would certainly help! LOL
I have had this stamp set for years and any of you familiar with the Flourishes Stamp Company will know how long I've had it since they've been out of business for quite some time. And, would you believe I have never used it ... ugh, shame on me! So I guess that means I should also enter my card into the NBUS January Challenge.
Also I'd like to enter into the fun hop & challenge theme at Just Add Ink Challenge Blog.
Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by my blog today!
I hope you have a fabulous day ahead!
As always ... please stay safe & healthy!
Hang in there ... We can get through this pandemic together!
This is beautiful! Definitely what we have been able to do this January, just before the second wave struck us.
ReplyDeleteHope things will turn out for the better soon.
Hugs from Africa!
Just like in every other year, about this time I begin to long for warmer temps and lots of sunshine! Your card just makes me happy! Love the colors too!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Darlene! That is a lovely stamp and certainly fits the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful is this CAS scene you created. I love it!
ReplyDeleteAn absolutely lovely design! Thanks for joining us at AAA Cards!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blending, & the perfect sentiment for these times, Darlene. I hope your health improves & covid life settles for us all soon. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week. x
ReplyDeleteI've always loved this stamp set. You probably didn't know I chose all the quotes for this set. You sure did a great job with the CASness of it. That's so hard! My psyche has suffered in the past year just from the ugliness on the news. People! I find myself more hesitant to engage than I have been in the past.
ReplyDeleteWonderful CAS project, simply fabulous colours and design....xx
ReplyDeleteRobot has made me work the last 3 days, stupid blogger...
We certainly are living in strange and worrying times! I love your card and the sentiment is definitely something we need to keep in mind! Your beautiful colouring really makes the black images pop. Thanks for joining in at Just Add Ink.
ReplyDeleteSeeing the figures of the kids just having fun outdoors, lifts my spirits Darlene, and even more so when you've backed it with that lovely bit of colouring to highlight it. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. Kim

I have this stamp, too, Darlene, and I've only used it once and in a design that I felt meh about. But yours is beautiful and CASlicious and now I want to get that fun silhouette stamp out again and CASE you! I love the soft blended sky and grass! Thank you so much for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Keep safe and take care and I hope you get some sunshine soon! Hugs, Darnell
