Happy Palm Sunday!
WOW ... it's hard to believe Easter is next weekend! Seems like I just got the Christmas decorations all put away! LOL Where does the time go??
Speaking of last minute (well kind of lol) ... I was inspired by crafting friend Judy Woodland's beautiful entry into the Color Hues Challenge and wanted to create a card and play along. But, I'd better hurry since the challenge ends at 9 AM EST tomorrow.
My card was pretty quick & easy and only uses 2 dies and a touch of faux stitching. The dies used are:
Paper Rose - Texture 1 (#17925)
and Sue Wilson - Perspectives - HUGS (CED8307)
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you're having a fabulous weekend!
please, please wear a mask when out in public!
Glad you liked my card. I love black and white, it's so striking and elegant. Your card is simply FABULOUS. The clean and simple design is perfect for the challenge. Thanks for the inspiration, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen that dramatic background die--but it's so effective! What a great graphic card! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white and those fab dies! So striking!
ReplyDeleteOh Darlene, I just recently found the Company Paper Roses and have bought quite a few of their things but have not come across this texture background! This is such a beautiful CAS design! Your dashes at the top and bottom of the card really works well! Thanks for making black and white looks so good at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteOooh, love this with the fabulous SW Hugs die and now the cool background, too! I also loved Judy's card. It's hard to pull off a good B&W, but you both did!
ReplyDeleteBlack and white is always a gorgeous look. Your design certainly is wonderful.
