Who doesn't like Polka Dots?

 Hello Friends ...

I spotted a challenge over at the Cupcake Inspirations Blog
and just had to play along.  Here's their board this time around . . .

I actually thought I had some Minnie Mouse elements that I would be able to use but turns out all I had was Micky so went a different direction.  I had recently purchased a few 3D stickers at Hobby Lobby and noticed the one snowman had a red polka dot umbrella ... perfect!

I went to my various 6x6 paper packs which I knew some had polka dots and others had stripes and here's what I came up with.  As I mentioned, the snowman is a 3D sticker by the Paper Studio.   To showcase him I die cut this beautiful old Memory Box 'Frostyville Wreath' (#98418) twice ... once in black and once in white then fit them together for the center of my card.

I hope your week is off to a good start!
Cold and Snowy here in NE Ohio but it is January so to be expected!  LOL

White on White

 Hello Friends and Happy Sunday!
I trust you are having a fabulous weekend despite the weather in some parts.
Big football day ... who are you rooting for?
I have to go with the Bengals since I live in Ohio but I sure like Kansas City!!

Anyways ... I spotted a challenge over on PP and just had to whip up a quick card and play along.  The challenge is offered up by the AAA Cards Challenge which is CAS (clean & simple) card challenge blog and their theme today is White on White.

I think white on white cards are very classy and being of CAS design, this card took me all of 5 minutes to create ... hope you like it.

Elements used on today's card are as follows:

Paper Rose 'Stitched Rectangle Frames' (16679)

Paper Rose - Dies - Stitched Rectangle Frames

the Paper Studio
'la petites' dimensional floral stickers
Inkadinkado sentiment stamp

Challenges to share in:
Just Us Girls #664 - CAS week - Birthday

Beyond the Blue #78 - White on White

Can You Handle the Pressure - Twist - Borders

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is 'DOTS'.

Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

Here's what I've created to inspire you today.

I have created this card using only two elements ...

The border embossing was created using a very old Marianne embossing folder (DS0907).  I've probably had this in my stash for at least 10 years and rarely think to use it  ... that will change after today!!

Facebook

After embossing on a white card stock panel, I decided to back it with a rich navy blue card stock (even though it does look black).  Then thinking about what sentiment to use, I thought this would make a beautiful sympathy (or encouragement) card so went with this Elizabeth Craft 'Prayer' die (#1301).

I do hope you'll come check out our new blog and play along.
AND yep ... we will be offering prizes at our challenges ... that's always a fun surprise!

Here's today's prize offering . . .

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!
