Can You Handle the Pressure - Twist - Easter

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is 'EASTER'.

Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

Here's what I've created to inspire you today.

I thought this beautiful Lisa Horton 'Alstroemeria' 3D 6x6 embossing folder would make the perfect background for today's Easter card.  After embossing my white panel, I colored my flowers using an artist brush, Tombow markers and water.  Then I created a double matting to showcase it.

I've used an OLD Stampabilities sentiment stamp and it was also double matted using the scraps cut from the main background panels.  The ovals used are a Tutti Designs Oval die set.

White Nuvo drops adorn the side panel.

I do hope you'll come check out our new blog and play along.
AND yep ... we will be offering prizes at our challenges ... that's always a fun surprise!

Here's today's prize offering . . .

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!

    1. Don't feel bad Mrs. A. I can't even comment on my own blog without signing back into my Google acct (shown next to anonymous). I've had to do this while commenting at MANY other blogs. Must be a new Blogger/Google thing! They are always messing around with something in the background! Ugh!

  5. What a delightful folder you have used and how creative in the way you coloured it. Those small Nuvo drops at the side add something extra to the card.

  6. This is FABULOUS, Dar. I absolutely love how you used the embossing folder so beautifully to add texture and color. It's inspiring and quite lovely. AND...you followed our simple rules like a true champion. So many people share their wonderful cards (in many challenges) and fail to post the inspiration photo/follow the simple rules and it, sadly, makes them ineligible to win. Well, I'm preaching to the choir with you. You obviously know your way around a challenge blog, so it makes perfect sense that you would be aware of rules and such a professional in your thorough (and much appreciated) entries. We all enjoy your art so much and truly appreciate your participation in our challenges. You're normally the one visiting me as a DT Member of the challenges where I love to play along. It's fun stopping by your blog just to thank you for sharing with us and to enjoy your art. Hope your week is going well, my creative friend. Thanks again for joining us. Your cards are always such a beautiful blessing.
