Hello my friends!
Today I have a card for the new challenge over on The Sisterhood of Crafters!
Our theme today is:
BEACH
As soon as I hear the word 'Beach', I instantly turn to my Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks and sponge daubers. And, that's exactly what I've done today to create my background scene. A little scrap of torn paper helped me create the water line as well as the horizon line. Now that I'm writing up my card, I realize I never put the 'waves' in the water ... oh well, must have been a very CALM day on the beach! LOL
Product used today is as follows:
Various TH distress oxide inks
Large sponge daubers
Technique Junkie 'Find my Soul' (#SD1009) sentiment stamp (at least 5-6 years old)
(I've only used a portion of it on the front ... the remainder was used on the inside.)
Stampscapes 'Gulls'
EK Success Flip Flop Stickers
Sue Wilson 'Tropical Collection - Island Paradise' (CED21009)
OH how I'd love to be on that island right about now! LOL
I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!

ReplyDeleteOh, those flip flops and the sentiment, the whole scene you created... I love it! Maybe it's a sheltered cove and that's why the sea is calm. I didn't even miss the waves.
