Hello Friends!
Have you checkout our new challenge blog called TRIPLE B?
It's
all about using any of your stash but your project must have at least a
BIRD, a BUTTERFLY or BLOOMS (flowers) visible on it. Hence the title
Triple B.
I'm your host for June and here's the inspiration board I have created for you ...
Don't you just love roses? Any color rose is beautiful to me!
So, that was the basis of today's creation.
To create my background panel, I first inked up the Lisa Horton 3D embossing folder using the TH ink then ran it through my machine. Then I matted it with black card stock. The lacy rectangle panel was die cut from white card stock using one of the dies in the Sue Wilson set.
I die cut the 'bird on a branch' four times. Coloring one then glued them all together to create dimension. Add my sentiment and a couple Nuvo drops ... VIOLA, Card Complete.
Product used:
Lisa Horton 3D 'Roses' embossing folder
Sue Wilson 'Australian' background die set (CED8101)
Impression Obsession 'Bird on a Branch' (DIE161)
Creative Expressions ' Everyday' Wordies (CEW002)
Tim Holtz 'Kitsch Flamingo' Distress Oxide Ink
Tombo Markers for coloring
Nuvo Drops Pink
Remember, our challenge begins on the 3rd of each month, ends on the last day of the month and Winner's are announced on the 2nd of each month.
