Alphabet Challenge Time

Hello Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Alphabet Challenge Blog.
Today's letter is"Y"
 for
Yarn or String or Twine

I have chosen Baker's Twine for today's card but come to think of it, I could have used red yarn from my crochet basket too!  Oh well ... next time!

I have used the fabulous Mintay 'Marina' designer paper to establish my theme and that's where all the fun began!   The center strip is the reverse side of my designer paper and I simply looped some of my red/white Baker's twine around it and taped it on the back as my accent panel.

The products used on today's creation are actually some very old dies I've had in my stash:

Spellbinder in'spire 'Anchors Away' (IN-014)
(sorry ... it says it's no longer available)
But if you go HERE you will find others that would work just as well!

Spellbinder Nestabilities 'Beaded Ovals' (S4-294)

Sue Wilson Mini Expressions 'Happy Birthday' (CEDME002)
Sue Wilson Designs - Mini Expressions - Happy Birthday

The anchor is die cut from silver foil paper and I've threaded my baker's twine around and around each 'bead' on my oval die cut and tied it off in a bow at the top.  A small piece of baker's twine was left so I didn't want to waste it so decided to tie it into a bow around the top of my anchor.

For the sentiment, I die cut from red and again from white.  I didn't like either color by itself so I matted the red behind the white and I think it stands out beautifully!

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun and
I look forward to being inspired by your creation!!  See you there!
Thanks so much for stopping by...
As always . . .
