Sisterhood of Crafters - Create your own background!

 Hello my friends!

Today I have a card for the new challenge over on The Sisterhood of Crafters!

Our theme, chosen by MWAH (lol) this time around, is:

 CREATE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND

I love creating backgrounds so why not choose something I really like to do ... right?  LOL  Something else I really enjoy doing when I take the time is creating scenery cards using my Stampscapes stamps.  That's what I've chosen to do for you today!

I actually created a 'background within a background'.
I first stamped my cabin scene and colored it in making sure to create the reflection of the blue sky in the water in front of the cabin.  Then I knew I wanted my actual background to be of the pines as seen in the foreground image to be carried on in the background.  The use of sponge daubers, Tim Holtz distress inks and Stampscapes stamps made this card fairly easy to create!  Hope you like it!

I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters!
My 'sistahs' have created some fabulous creations to help inspire you ...
be sure to pop over and check them out!

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!
